LYNNFIELD — A 33-year-old Randolph man was fatally shot in Lynnfield early Sunday morning.
Police were called to 8 Needham Road at about 3 a.m. for a report of a shooting, according to the Essex County District Attorney’s Office.
Keivan Heath was taken to Union Hospital in Lynn, where he was pronounced dead.
The incident is being investigated by local police along with state police detectives assigned to the district attorney’s office.
No arrests have been made.
The last time there was a murder in Lynnfield was in 2010 when sisters Kimberly and Lilly Nguyen were killed in a double-murder-suicide. Police said the killings stemmed from an argument Kimberly, who was six months’ pregnant, got into with her boyfriend, Joseph Cummings, about the naming of their unborn child. The fight escalated and Cummings shot the sisters and then turned the gun on himself.
