TAMWORTH, N.H. — An injured Lynn hiker was rescued by New Hampshire Fish and Game personnel in the White Mountain National Forest over the weekend, according to a report by WCVB.
Alexa Kovach, 34, was hiking the Blueberry Ledge Trail with a friend when she fell and injured her ankle on Saturday. She attempted to slide down the trail, but eventually called 911 for help at about 4:30 p.m.
Kovach reached the parking lot at 9:20 p.m., was evaluated and treated by emergency medical services personnel, the report said.
