REVERE — He had a gold badge, handcuffs, what appeared to be a service weapon, and a mission to protect and serve. Unfortunately, a Revere teen did not have a job as a police officer.

“(The suspect) made several statements to officers including inferring that he patrols the streets looking for the real criminals,” Revere Police Lt. Amy O’Hara said in an email on Monday. “(He) has had other involvements with Revere Police impersonating a police officer.”
