SAUGUS — Christine Moreschi has been hired to replace Susan Dunn as chief administrative aide for the Town Manager.
Dunn has worked for the town of Saugus for 22 years and will retire in July. Moreschi, a Town Meeting member for Precinct 2, began working alongside her at the end of March.
“Susan Dunn has done a wonderful job,” said Moreschi. “I’ve seen a lot of positive change in the town. I want to be more of a part of that.”
Moreschi, a Saugus native, is a member of the Saugus High School Project Building Committee, Food Service Committee, Wellness Committee, and St. Vincent de Paul. She’s the president of the Belmonte Middle School Parent Teacher Organization. Before assuming the role, she was a member of the Veterans Memorial Elementary School Parent Teacher Organization.
“I’ve been very involved in the town,” Moreschi said. “I was born and raised here and I’m raising my family here.”

“I am pleased to welcome Christine to her new position,” said Town Manager Scott Crabtree in a statement. “Christine holds an ideal skillset for this challenging role. I am confident that her extensive knowledge of the town, experience at the Saugus Public Schools, and expertise with administrative tasks will make her an asset to my office and the community.”
Moreschi has an associate’s degree in paralegal studies from North Shore Community College. She most recently worked as the Administrator’s Secretary at Veterans Memorial Elementary School for five years.
In her new role, she will independently maintain and supervise financial records, produce correspondence and other documents, and act as a liaison with department heads, said Crabtree.
