LYNN — With just days to go until the July 4 holiday, the city is still trying to reach its $30,000 goal for its share of the July 3 fireworks display.
Lynn and Swampscott share the cost of the fireworks, which will be set off at Lynn Beach on July 3 at 9 p.m. The Friends of Lynn-Nahant Beach will sponsor a free concert by the Lois Lane Band at Red Rock Park at 7 p.m.
The final fundraiser for the Lynn Fireworks Fund is tonight at Rolly’s Tavern on the Square in Wyoma Square. The eatery will donate 15 percent of all sales from 5-10 p.m. There will also be a raffle.
To support the fireworks fund, please send donations to Mayor Kennedy’s Fireworks Fund, Lynn City Hall, Room 306, 3 City Hall Square, Lynn, MA 01901.
