A $10 million lottery ticket was sold in Peabody this week, according to a Massachusetts State Lottery press release.
“The DRC Trust of Salem has claimed the fourth $10 million prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “$10,000,000 Multiplier Spectacular” instant game.
The Trust, represented by trustee Marc Frey, chose to receive its prize in the form of a one-time payment of $6,500,000 (before tax withholdings). The winning ticket was sold by Town Variety, 116 Central St. in Peabody. The store receives a $50,000 bonus for its sale, the highest retailer bonus paid by the Mass. Lottery.
One $10 million prize and twelve $1 million prizes remain in the “$10,000,000 Multiplier Spectacular” $20 instant game.”
