SWAMPSCOTT — Authorities are investigating a Saturday early-morning shooting on Erie Street that sent a 23-year-old man to Salem Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
According to police, the man was standing in the living room of 11 Erie St. around 4 a.m. when he heard a noise and felt something hit his arm. He had been injured by a bullet shot from outside of the house.
