LYNN — The Lynn Area Chamber of Commerce (LACC) recently donated to the North Shore Latino Business Association (NSLBA) capital campaign to purchase the building at 33-35 Sutton St., where they are currently doing business.
The NSLBA is currently celebrating its 5th anniversary and boasts 260 members in the community. To celebrate their longevity and commitment to the community the NSLBA has embarked on a capital campaign to purchase the building they currently call home.
“The Lynn Area Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to support the NSLBA with their initiative to purchase the building they currently occupy by making a donation towards that investment,” says LACC Chair Teresa Sarno.
“Our collaborative efforts will build a stronger Lynn for the betterment of the business and residential community.”
“We are grateful for the LACC collaboration and continued support since we established the NSLBA,” says NSLBA President/CEO Frances Martinez. “Together we keep strengthening our services providing good resources and new opportunities to all.”
As a fellow business organization, the LACC is committed to supporting the mission of the NSLBA. In addition, plans are in the works to host a joint LACC-NSLBA After Hours event on April 27th at Trios beginning at 5:30pm, to help raise additional funds for the capital campaign.
