NAHANT — Oceanview of Nahant has unveiled its new outdoor space large enough to seat up to 200 against an ocean backdrop.
Owners Brenda and Michael Gallant broke ground on the space in February and contractors, including James K. Emmanuel Landscape Architects, Marblehead, Raffaele Construction of Lynn, Hancock Associates of Danvers, Wilson Brothers Construction-Nahant and Lynn-based EZ Landscaping, completed work.
The outside space features a rustic barn door for a dramatic bride entrance, a sand color tech block walkway, white composite wooden pergolas with sailcloth drapery for privacy, white ceremonial flags waving in the sea air and romantic banners hanging next to a rustic Beach Stone Terrace overhang as well as a new sound system and custom lighting for evening lawn games with beach firepits.
“We are beyond thrilled with the way it has turned out and all of our brides and grooms are even more excited to be married on such a breathtaking space,” said Brenda Gallant.
Oceanview plans to host three to four outdoor ceremonies every weekend in the space through September.
